Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav asserted that women are symbols of dedication. The government has accomplished every commitment made toward their welfare and continues to move forward with its resolve for the well-being of sisters. On Bhai Dooj, the Ladli Bahna Scheme’s installment amount was promised to be increased from ₹1,250 to ₹1,500, and today, that moment has arrived to fulfill this promise. The Chief Minister noted that 23 out of the scheme’s total 30 installments have been sent to beneficiaries, marking a significant milestone. The scheme has transformed not only the lives of the sisters but also the future direction of Madhya Pradesh itself. The Ladli Behna Scheme has evolved from a simple aid initiative into a powerful instrument of empowerment. What began as a gesture of support has now become a pathway to success.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasised that the Ladli Behna Scheme is not merely a financial assistance programme but a powerful means of fostering self-respect and self-reliance among women. It is the fulfillment of the government’s commitment to build a strong and empowered Madhya Pradesh where every sister is self-reliant, confident, and strong. On Wednesday in Seoni district, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed Ladli Bahnas and, with a single click, transferred ₹1,857 crore into the accounts of over 12.6 million Ladli Bahnas across the state, including more than 268,000 sisters in Seoni district. He remotely inaugurated and performed the Bhoomi Poojan for 114 development works in Seoni district, totaling ₹560.75 crore, including new projects such as a law college and four Sandipani Schools.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also inaugurated the world’s largest tiger sculpture made from scrap, 17 feet high, 40 feet long and 8 feet wide, at Pench Tiger Reserve, Seoni. Responding to requests from local representatives, he announced plans to construct a stadium in Ghansor for the youth, build a major bridge across the river between Lamta in Balaghat and Pandia Chhapara in Seoni, and undertake several new road projects.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav engaged in heartfelt conversations with Ladli Bahna beneficiaries and families, learned about the benefits received from government schemes, and distributed entitlements. Addressing farmers, he said the district’s paddy farmers have received bonuses and assured them that the government will also purchase wheat and ensure full payment for maize crops.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted that the self-confidence of the Ladli Bahnas is Madhya Pradesh’s greatest asset. The sisters' empowerment elevates both society and the state. The government is making sustained efforts for the social, educational, and economic empowerment of women. Ladli Bahna Scheme provides not only financial support but also the strength for women to make independent decisions. Chief Minister called on everyone to help build a Madhya Pradesh where every sister is safe, educated, empowered, and self-reliant, because the state’s future resides in the smiles of its sisters. Empowered women strengthen families and society, and a strong society is the main foundation for a prosperous Madhya Pradesh.
30 Installments Have Changed Sisters’ Lives
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav told the sisters that the Ladli Bahna Scheme has changed not only their lives but also his perspective. He saw firsthand, through new stories shared by sisters, just how much policy and intent can transform lives. The money from this scheme has helped some women start small businesses, others fund their children's education, and yet others learn new skills. This scheme has altered the lives of the sisters and reshaped the future direction of Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said the Ladli Bahna Scheme was launched in June 2023 to empower sisters, and from then until October 2025, a cumulative ₹44,917 crore has been transferred to their bank accounts. From January 2024 to October 2025 alone, more than ₹34,921 crore has been sent by single-click transfers. Each year, sisters received a separate ₹250 Raksha Bandhan bonus, which is now being increased. The Ladli Bahna Scheme has evolved from a support initiative to one that provides real opportunities—moving beneficiaries toward becoming leaders. Started as a gesture of solidarity, it has become a formula for success. Fulfilling sisters’ dreams is our pledge; we will keep working for your happiness, respect, and empowerment. Now, with ₹1,500 transferred each month, I am sure this will give wings to your aspirations.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted Seoni district’s immense potential for development, especially in wildlife tourism, noting that innovations like homestays and adventure tourism will not only accelerate district progress but also create new jobs for sisters and youth. Seoni boasts women in MP roles such as Member of Parliament, Collector, and District Panchayat President. With the blessings of sisters, life becomes enriched. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guidance, the government pledged to increase Ladli Bahna payments and today that promise has been kept. Every month in the state, Raksha Bandhan and Bhai Dooj are celebrated, and our government continues to honor its commitments. He mentioned the ongoing 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Birsa Munda. Madhya Pradesh has the largest tribal population in India, and the government is including stories and contributions of tribal icons into textbooks. All festivals are being celebrated as per tradition honoring tribal heroes.
Women Should Be Fearless and Become Leaders
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav noted that sisters have received over ₹45,000 crore so far, and as the state government nears its second anniversary, the goal is to provide ₹5,000 per month to sisters employed in industries. Women are using the Ladli Bahna funds to start businesses and fulfill family needs. They should be fearless and become leaders, efforts are underway to implement 33% political reservation by 2028. He urged women to join dairy farming, emphasising that homes with milk, curd, buttermilk, and butter are free of malnutrition. The goal is to increase milk production by 20% statewide.
Chief Minister stated that Madhya Pradesh has received four national awards from the central government for industrial development, provided jobs to more than 600,000 people, and is constructing eight working women’s hostels. Over 5 lakh self-help groups now connect more than 5.3 million sisters with benefits from various schemes. Starting December 30, 2025, a major program will waive surcharges on electricity bills older than three months. Under the Bhavantar Scheme, payments to soybean farmers will be transferred on November 13; farmers are receiving bonuses for rice, and the government will buy wheat and ensure fair prices for maize.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav encouraged those involved in Naxalite activities to adopt the government’s surrender policy and quickly join mainstream society, highlighting that under Home Minister Amit Shah, Naxalism will be fully eradicated by March 2026.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited exhibitions, wished a young girl on her birthday and took part in her annaprashan ceremony. The event began with lighting of the lamp and a collective singing of the national song ‘Vande Mataram’. The Chief Minister conversed with beneficiaries, including Smt. Sushma Sanodia, who said the Ladli Bahna Scheme made sisters financially stronger and helped her beauty parlor business. Mahduri Daheria shared that her husband benefits from the Kisan Samman Nidhi, and Ladli Bahna funds have helped buy books and household essentials for her children. The Chief Minister assured sisters of further support through the Prime Minister Housing Scheme and employment programs; sisters are diligently paying self-help group installments. He praised officers who do good work and said those who show negligence must be checked.
Revenue Minister and Seoni’s in-charge Shri Karan Singh Verma said Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is governing like the valiant Emperor Vikramaditya, and today’s 1,500 installment marks another milestone for sisters.
MP Balaghat-Seoni constituency’s Smt. Bharti Paridhi said the sensitive Chief Minister fulfills 100% of his promises and has given numerous gifts to Seoni’s development.
