Mrs. India Asia 2025 First Runner-Up Dr. Shveta Mishra Returns to Bhopal Vows to Make Wellness a Way of Life
“My victory is not about beauty, but about confidence and balance,” she says
Mrs. India Asia 2025 First Runner-Up Dr. Shveta Mishra returned to her hometown Bhopal on Wednesday to a warm welcome. Representing India on an international platform, Dr. Shveta shared her experience, her challenging preparation journey, and her vision for the future during an interaction with the media.
Speaking about her participation in the pageant, Dr. Shveta said it was a transformative journey of self-discipline and self-discovery.
“Behind the smile you see on stage are months of preparation, hard work, and emotional strength. I rebuilt myself in every aspect—from fitness, yoga, mindfulness and communication to mental resilience. I realized that true success is the one that shines through authentic self-confidence,” she shared.
A doctorate in Finance, Dr. Shveta Mishra spent nearly a decade in Germany with her husband, where she deepened her understanding of Indian yoga and Ayurveda from a global lens. Now settled in India, she believes her international exposure keeps her connected to the evolving global wellness landscape.
Dr. Shveta announced that her next mission is to “make wellness a lifestyle” for people across India. Speaking about her initiative “LYFE by Shveta,” she said she is actively working in the areas of yoga, mindful eating, detox programs, skin rejuvenation, and mental health. She also revealed plans to launch community-based wellness education programs in Madhya Pradesh.
“Madhya Pradesh is a beautiful blend of nature, culture, and serenity. If we integrate wellness into our daily lifestyle here, the state has the potential to become the wellness capital of India,” she said.
Dr. Shveta added that she is exploring collaborations with the state’s Tourism and AYUSH departments to develop yoga- and nature-based wellness circuits. She believes such initiatives will not only promote holistic health but also create new avenues for local employment.
Sharing her emotional connection with the city, she said with a smile,
“Bhopal is where my journey began, and now it is the starting point of my new mission. I want every woman and every young person in this city to recognize their inner strength and embrace health, balance, and happiness as their goals.”
